The end-of-semester moonlight meal (aka moonlight breakfast) is a cherished Florida Poly tradition hosted in collaboration with Phoenix Dining (Chartwells) on the last day of classes. During this event, faculty and staff give back to students by serving them a late-night meal as a gesture of encouragement before final exams begin.
This event is open to all students, so please help spread the word, especially to those without a meal plan!
This semester’s theme, as voted by our students, is Mario vs. Sonic. We’ll be drawing inspiration from both iconic franchises and their crossover games, such as Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.
The Office of Student Experience is seeking faculty and staff volunteers to assist with this event. Volunteers will serve a two-hour shift from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., which includes:
- Working a specific shift and position, such as server, check-in or a game station
- Assisting with event setup and takedown
- Enjoying time to eat and connect with students
Please sign up HERE by the end of the day on Monday, Nov. 17.
Thank you for helping us make this tradition a success and for supporting our students during finals week!
For any questions or concerns, please contact Melanie Morenson, student experience coordinator.
