At this Friday’s brown bag, Michelle Disson & David Brunell will lead a workshop on supporting LGBTQ+ students.
Safe Zone is a training to create and maintain a LGBTQ+ affirming environment and culture at Florida Poly by embracing and valuing people of all sexual and gender identities, in order to:
- Feel more comfortable talking about LGBTQ+ issues
- Interact more sensitively with LGBTQ+ population
- Create a safer environment for LGBTQ+ individuals on campus
- Gain greater understanding of LGBTQ+ culture
