It may not be March 14th anymore but one of the beautiful things about Pi is that all number sequences occur in the number. That means every day can be Pi day! So to celebrate the 57th(7) and 58th(4) digit occurring in PI we will be hosting the Virtual Poly Pi run on July 4th weekend 7/3-7/5.
To compete in the Virtual Florida Poly Pi run you will need to fill out and submit the registration form below. Then between Friday, July 3, 2020, and Sunday, July 5, 2020, you will need to walk, jog, or run 3.14 consecutive miles. That means you need to use some sort of fitness tracker app that can measure distance traveled. After you finish your 3.14 miles you’ll need to send a picture of your workout summary that shows distance and time to Pirun@floridapoly.edu.
Thank you so much for your continued support of this Florida Poly tradition! Florida Poly Proud.
The best part about this virtual race is that it is free to all students, staff, and faculty at Florida Polytechnic University!
