On Saturday, November 1, Florida Polytechnic University will host day two of the Multispecialty Robotic Microsurgery Symposium, a conference of the Robotic Assisted Microsurgical and Endoscopic Society (RAMSES). This fourth annual RAMSES conference is expected to draw scientists and physicians from around the world to discuss the latest technology and trends in microsurgery and robotic-assisted surgery techniques.

Florida Polytechnic University leadership will kick-off the day’s events, with President Dr. Randy K. Avent and Provost Dr. Ghazi Darkazalli serving as opening speakers. Various Florida Polytechnic faculty members will address the group on topics like the future of bioengineering and nanotechnology.

The two-day conference begins on October 31 in Orlando, Fla. and will feature leading speakers in robotic assisted and conventional microsurgical techniques, as well as trainings and workshops on various microsurgeries ranging from peripheral nerve surgery and anesthesiology to hand, plastics and reconstructive surgery.
