Research Way Lakeland
Florida Polytechnic University, in partnership with Lakeland Regional Health Systems and All Saints Academy, has launched its annual Medical Engineering & Robotics Innovation for Tomorrow (merit) summer program for 15 achieving high school students. The summer camp is led by Florida Polytechnic University faculty and medical professionals from Lakeland Regional Health Systems. Tonight’s program includes a hands-on session on robotics and circuits. The month-long program enables students to gain experience using 3D printers, building and programming robots, learning about brain mapping and using medical scanners in a simulated environment.
