About
Dr. Karim Elish is an assistant professor of computer science at Florida Polytechnic University. Before joining Florida Poly in 2016, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and the associate director of the Information Analytics and Visualization (IAV) Center at Purdue University-Fort Wayne.

Elish is directing the development of curriculum in mobile computing security through a $70,500 grant received from the Florida Center for Cybersecurity. He has published several journal and conference papers in his field. One of his journal papers was placed in the top 10 most cited papers by the Elsevier Journal of Systems and Software (JSS). He is serving as a reviewer for many high impact ISI journals such as IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing (TDSC), IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics & Security, IEEE Transactions on Mobil computing (TMC), IEEE Systems Journal, and others.
