Stephen Clinton

Adjunct Professor of Philosophy

Dr. Stephen M. Clinton brings substantial administrative leadership and academic experience to his role at Florida Poly. He is past President of the Orlando Institute, where he was a professor of Education and Philosophy. He has worked as a visiting professor in Asia, Russia, Africa, Europe and Latin America.

He holds two doctorates. He has a Ph.D. in Education from the University of California and a Ph.D. in Religion from the California Graduate School of Theology. He also completed a post-doctoral program in Philosophy at the University of California. He holds Master of Arts Degrees in Education from California State University, in Counseling from the International School of Theology, and in Philosophy of Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

He has a Master of Divinity Degree with a focus on Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. His bachelor’s degree is in Social Science and Philosophy from Trinity College.

His work experience includes serving as Director of the Doctor of Education Program at the Universidad Iberoamericana de Liderasco in Miami, Florida. He also taught religious studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, Moody Bible Institute and Belhaven College. He has held numerous posts as an adjunct professor, including at Valencia College, the University of Phoenix, and Laurel University.
