DeAnn Doll is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources with more than a decade of practical experience that includes serving as the Human Resources Manager of the Ann Arbor District Library. At Florida Polytechnic University, Doll plays a key role in developing the human resources infrastructure, a challenge she met and fulfilled in her previous job at the Ann Arbor District Library, after it became an independent organization. Doll worked at the district library for nearly two decades prior to joining the University. “I’m excited with this role, because being part of a brand new University holds many challenges, opportunities and rewards. It truly was an opportunity of a lifetime for me, and I think of it as my dream job!” Doll explained.
Doll has gained a lot of skills and knowledge as a veteran of human resources management. She describes herself as a “people-oriented human resources and finance leader with an exemplary record for driving all facets of personnel and finance operations.” Her expertise includes employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, mentoring, purchasing, payroll and all facets of human resources operations.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Siena Heights University in Michigan. She holds certificates in Accounting and in Human Resource Management from Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Mich. Her pastimes include reading, taking walks and enjoying the temperate Florida climate.
