About
Kristin Stokes joined the team at Florida Polytechnic University in 2018 after serving as the coordinator of victim services at the Lakeland Police Department for four years. Her work with the Lakeland Police Department focused on assisting survivors of crime in terms of emotional support, victim compensation, and understanding the criminal justice process. She also has 14 years of experience working as a professional school counselor and referral coordinator of exceptional student services for the Polk County School Board. Prior to her time working for Polk County, she worked as a paralegal in the Lakeland area for 10 years with an emphasis on civil litigation and foreclosures.
