Regina Deiulio

Vice President and General Counsel

As Vice President and General Counsel, Regina “Gina” Deiulio provides leadership and oversight to her team in supporting the University’s Board of Trustees and handles legal matters for the University and the Foundation. The mission of the Office of the General Counsel is to provide sound legal advice, accurate information, and prompt services. Deiulio has been with the University since February 2013, and her primary areas of practice include governance and employment and labor-related matters.

The office supports the mission of the University by negotiating, preparing and reviewing legal documents; assisting in the creation and promulgation of regulations, rules, and policies; advising clients on legal matters, providing training, and representing the University in administrative and judicial proceedings.

Deiulio has more than 25 years of experience providing legal counsel in higher education and brings a wealth of knowledge to the position. Prior to joining Florida Poly, she served as Associate General Counsel at Florida International University in Miami, General Counsel at the University of West Florida, and Associate General Counsel at the University of South Florida; her major areas of responsibility included purchasing, auxiliary enterprises, contracts, information technology and regulation development. She also taught School Law in the Educational Leadership Program at Barry University.

Deiulio earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of West Florida.
