Florida Poly Spirit Week is here! We’re in the middle of five fun-filled days of activities, bringing our campus to life with energy, creativity and a whole lot of Phoenix Pride. Spirit Week brings our community together through themed dress-up days, photo opportunities and a shared sense of engagement.

Each day features a different theme, encouraging students, faculty and staff to show off their spirit in unique ways.

Spirit Week Themes

• Sept. 17: Decades Day. Don your best duds to represent a blast from the past – think 1950s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s or early 2000s.
• Sept. 18: Science Fiction Day. We’re celebrating all things out of this world. Space explorers, futuristic technology, aliens, robots or iconic sci-fi movies and TV shows.
• Sept. 19: Purple Pride Day. Wear your Florida Poly colors or gear and show your Purple Pride loud and proud!

Spirit Week isn’t just about fun outfits; it’s about fostering engagement and creating lasting memories. This is a great opportunity to connect, engage and celebrate all the things that make Florida Poly unique.

The Campus Store will offer students a 10% discount on Florida Poly apparel on Friday, Sept. 19, only. Students must present their University ID to qualify.

Spirit Week Guidelines: Let’s keep It Fun and Appropriate

• Keep it professional: Costumes should be modest and appropriate for a shared work environment. Avoid overly revealing, sheer or offensive clothing.
• Footwear matters: Please, no bare feet.
• Participation is completely optional.
