We’re thrilled to announce that Polyween is returning! This is your chance to unleash your spooky spirit, let your creativity creep in and show off your Halloween flair! Whether you’re channeling a classic creature, a pop culture phantom, or something wildly wicked, we can’t wait to see your frightfully fantastic costumes and décor.

Contest Categories

• Best Individual Costume: Strut your spooky stuff solo!
• Best Group Costume: Gather your ghouls and goblins for a team fright fest!
• Door Décor: Transform your office door into a haunted masterpiece!

Costume Contest Rules

• Open to all University employees.
• Costumes must be workplace-appropriate and respectful of all cultures.
• Photo submissions are due on Friday, Oct. 24 at 5 p.m.
• One entry per person, per category.

Door Décor Contest Rules

• Keep it spooky and safe. Decorations must meet workplace standards.
• Use clear tape or mounting putty only (no glue, nails or staples).
• Avoid blocking access or creating safety hazards.
• Doors must remain functional, and windows uncovered.
• All decorations must be removed by Friday, Nov. 7.

How to Enter

• Submit your entries via the Florida Polyween photo entry system between Monday, Oct. 6 and Friday, Oct. 24.
• Click here to submit your photo (Submissions open Oct. 6).

Voting and Judging

• Electronic voting opens Monday, Oct. 27 and closes Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 5 p.m.
• A voting link will be sent to all employees on Monday, Oct. 27.
• Winners will be announced on Friday, Oct. 31 … Halloween!

Prizes

• Winners in each category will receive fang-tastic awards.
• We’ll share photos of the winners for all to enjoy!
