Feb. 19 – Fantastic Forces panel: Water, the Invisible Force

The Office of Public Policy Events presents the panel discussion, “Fantastic Forces: Elements in Action” on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 4:30 p.m. in BARC 2200. The discussion’s topic is “Water, the Invisible Force.”

Description: Fluoride is invisible, but the decisions behind it aren’t. Join us for a discussion on how science, public trust and policy come together in an everyday public health choice we rarely think about.

The event will be moderated by Kelli Stargel, vice president of strategic initiatives, development, and external relations at Florida Poly.

Panelists will be Dr. Jun Kim, assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering at Florida Poly; Brad Dantzler, former mayor of City of Winter Haven, Florida; and Dr. Johnny Johnson, president of the American Fluoridation Society.
