As the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) continues its work on the I-4 at S.R. 33 interchange project, they are transitioning to the next phase of construction next week. Please note these key traffic updates:

• University Boulevard reopening: The temporary closure at University Boulevard reopened on Aug. 10, fully restoring this primary route to campus.
• S.R. 33 at North Combee Road (S.R. 659) closure: Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 11, the entrance at North Combee Road will close for approximately 60 days to allow construction to advance.
• New detour: Motorists will be detoured via Old Combee Road to reconnect to the other side of the closure. Detour signs will be in place to guide you around the work zone.
