Fraud red flags

Keep an eye out for these common fraud indicators. A person may be:

• Unwilling to share duties or take leave
• Refusing to implement internal countermeasures
• Skipping approval steps
• Failing to keep appropriate or accurate records or receipts
• Seeking access to areas they should not be able to access
