As we begin another busy semester, please remember to safely use and properly store micro-mobility devices, including bikes, scooters, skateboards and other small-wheeled devices while on campus.

Important reminders

• Ride safely and always give pedestrians the right of way.
• Pay attention to campus signage and walk your wheels in designated areas.
• Do not ride any small-wheeled devices indoors, including in hallways or other interior spaces.
• Store bikes and other micro-mobility devices in designated bike racks. Do not leave them near building entrances, across sidewalks or anywhere they may create a safety or accessibility hazard.
• Electric bikes, electric scooters, electric skateboards, and other battery-powered personal mobility devices should not be charged inside campus buildings.

These guidelines do not apply to mobility devices being used as accessibility aids.
