Apply to join the Sick Leave Pool during Open Enrollment

The Sick Leave Pool is a reserve of sick leave hours donated by University employees to provide eligible employees with paid sick leave for catastrophic medical conditions.

During Open Enrollment, Oct. 11-29, download and submit the Sick Leave Pool Open Enrollment Application to Human Resources. Current members of the Sick Leave Pool do not need to reapply during Open Enrollment.

Per University Policy FPU 6.0006, employees are eligible for participation in the Sick Leave Pool after one year of employment with the University provided they have accrued a minimum of 64 hours of unused sick leave at the time of joining the Sick Leave Pool. To enroll, the employee must contribute eight hours of sick leave.
