Beginning Thursday, Oct. 3, Technology Services will be changing the update process for devices running Windows. After this date, you may notice an alert requesting that you restart your system in order to finish installing updates. This process will typically take within 5-10 minutes for routine security updates that are released monthly. Larger feature updates, which are released twice per year, may take up to 30 minutes.
