Summer workshops and mini hackathon

Please register and participate in our series of summer workshops throughout the month of July and don’t miss a mini hackathon on Friday, July 25.

Here are the topics for the workshops:

  • What is a Hackathon? – Wednesday, July 1 from 7-8:30 p.m.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of the hackathon world and resources you can use for projects and competitions. This workshop will also include an overview on how to use git and GitHub, as well as a talk about the Programming Club and our hackathon, PhoenixHacks!

  • Intro to Programming – Wednesday, July 8 from 7-8:30 p.m.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of programming and some commonly used programming languages.

  • Intro to Web Development – Wednesday, July 15 from 7-8:30 p.m.

This workshop will cover the basics of web development such as using html, JavaScript, and CSS.

  • Intro to Mobile Web Development – Wednesday, July 22 from 7-8:30 p.m.

This workshop will help you get started on building applications for android and iOS.
