Our Women’s Powerlifting team attended the USA Powerlifting state competition held early this month in Orlando. Ten of our athletes showed up and showed off a semester’s worth of hard work! Veronika Patti, Magelee Cortes, Madison Yonash, Jenelle Fernando, Madelyn Margo, Kyundra Meadows, Alyssa Wagner, Angelina Di Fiore, Kaitlyn Surovy, and Breanne Menikheim did an excellent job representing Florida Poly.

Notable achievements: Kaitlyn and Breanne placed second place their respective weight class, and Madison and Madelyn placed fourth in their respective weight class. Many of our athletes achieved personal records, and Florida Poly as a whole lifted over 2,150 kg or 4,740 lbs.!
