Congratulations to Florida Poly’s Procurement Department for receiving the prestigious 24th Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® (AEP) for 2019 from the National Procurement Institute, Inc. (NPI). It’s the second year in a row they’ve been awarded this recognition.
Florida Poly was one of only 24 institutions of higher education in the United States and Canada to receive this award in 2019.
The Procurement Department is led by director Dave O’Brien and supported by Treasa McLean, assistant vice president of procurement and auxiliary enterprises, Laura Marrone, associate director, and Denise Sprenkle, procurement coordinator.
The AEP award is earned by public and non-profit organizations that obtain a high score based upon an arduous review and examination against best practices and standardized criteria. The AEP is awarded annually to recognize innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity, and leadership in the procurement function.
The AEP program encourages the development of excellence as well as continued organizational improvement to earn the award annually.
