Cybersecurity Awareness Month kickoff and mandatory training

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, which means it’s time to refresh your cybersecurity protection skills.

Florida Poly’s annual mandatory cybersecurity awareness training opens Thursday, Oct. 1 and is due by Saturday, Oct. 31.

All faculty, staff and student workers will receive an enrollment notice from KnowBe4. Completing the training on time keeps the University in compliance with state cybersecurity training requirements and helps protect our systems and data.

Watch the Weekly Phoenix throughout October for more information. We’ll share practical tips on spotting and reporting suspicious email, and there will be a chance for students, faculty and staff to test their cybersecurity knowledge in a friendly competition.
