Do you know the resources available for a mental health emergency?

This notice appeared in the Weekly Phoenix between August 23, 2022 and September 5, 2022.

Student Affairs and Care Services are passionate about making sure students, faculty, and staff know how to access resources in case of a mental health emergency. Florida Poly has both a Student Assistance Program (SAP) and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available to provide confidential support at any time.

  • Students can access the SAP on a 24/7 basis by calling 800-878-5470 or emailing BayCareSAP@BayCare.org. All help is free, voluntary, and confidential.
  • Employees can access their EAP on a 24/7 basis by calling 800-878-5470 or emailing BayCareEAP@BayCare.org. This benefit is free, voluntary, and confidential.

Care Services is available to all students Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Care Services can be reached by calling 863-874-8599 or emailing care@floridapoly.edu. The Care Services office is located at The Access Point, located on the back side of Phase II housing facing west. Students can also make an appointment to work with an on-campus licensed counselor by calling 863-874-8599 or emailing Care Services during business hours. Counseling is free, voluntary, and confidential.
