The Education Outreach webpage has been updated and we have opportunities for students, faculty and staff. If you are a faculty or staff member with K-12, STEM-education, and/or outreach experience and want to get involved, or if you don’t have experience in this area but are interested in connecting with Florida students and participating in outreach programs, email the associate director of educational outreach.

Faculty must clear their involvement with their department chair and/or division director first.

Opportunities for involvement include:

• Science and Engineering Fair – judges
• Great American Teach-In guest speaker
• Guest speaker at on-campus Outreach STEM events (Our Outreach to the Future program begins in January 2020 on Mondays and Wednesday from 10am to 2pm; guest speakers are asked for a 30 minute talk, schedule is flexible.)

Volunteer Opportunity:

• Polk Regional Science and Engineering Fair in Bartow, Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020 (Register to be a judge.)

Volunteer Opportunity:

• The 65th State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida in Lakeland, Wednesday, March 25, 2020 (Register to be a judge.)
