Grammarly is now available to students! What is Grammarly? And why should I use it? Grammarly is a new online tool that can help you to improve your writing skills (and get better grades on those essays, reports, and papers). When you submit your work to Grammarly, it will run a very thorough check of all sorts of grammar and style errors, as well as checks for accidental plagiarism. It then flags them and offers suggestions for rewrites. So, you can run your own report and make your changes before you submit your work to your instructor for grading.
How to use Grammarly:
As a Florida Polytechnic student, you get the full benefits of the Grammarly website free with your online registration using your @floridapoly.edu email account. Follow these steps to create your account:
- Provide your name, @floridapoly.edu email, and set up a password.
- Check your inbox for the email and click on the activation link.
Download the Apps:
To make sure you get the most out of Grammarly, there are some additional helpful features for Microsoft Word, Internet browsers, emails, and the desktop. All components can be downloaded from https://app.grammarly.com/apps.
