Florida Poly CARES emergency funds are still available under the American Rescue Plan of 2021 for students who have been financially impacted by COVID-19 (e.g., student or parent job loss, furlough, loss of working hours, etc.) or taken on added expenses as a result of the pandemic. Added expenses may include food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and/or childcare expenses that occurred as a result of COVID-19. All students currently enrolled are eligible to apply. Supporting documentation is required when applying. Please, visit this link for more information and to apply.

For students who are eligible for federal student aid – if your family’s income has drastically changed since completing your 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (e.g., student or parent job loss, furlough, loss of working hours, etc.), the Office of Financial Aid can re-evaluate your circumstances on your federal aid application through professional judgement on a case-by-case basis. An explanation of the change in financial circumstance, as well as supporting documentation would be needed. Examples of supporting documentation may be a copy of the 2020 tax return and/or unemployment records. Non-applicable circumstances would include voluntarily leaving a place of employment, filing for bankruptcy, etc.

Please contact the Office of Financial Aid for more information.
