October 12, 2021

It’s nearing that time of year when the University Police Department (UPD) collects toys for the pediatric ward at Lakeland Regional Health to give back to our Lakeland community. This year, UPD is also collecting toys for a school in Honduras that is in need of toys for children ranging in ages from toddler to seven years old.

Please, drop off your toy donations now through Wednesday, Dec. 1, at one of the following locations:

  • UPD headquarters
  • Facilities and Safety Services
  • FIPR – reception
  • Florida Poly South – kitchen

Toys must be unwrapped. For guidelines from Lakeland Regional and a full list of recommended toys, click here (make sure to scroll down).

This will be our first global outreach toy drive, so please help us put a smile on a young face by donating to the pediatric ward at Lakeland Regional Hospital or to a less fortunate child in Honduras.

For more information, email University Police or call 863-874-8472.
