To satisfy security requirements, Information Technology Services (ITS) will introduce a new privilege elevation prompt window on Dec. 12. This update will not affect current functionality but will change the appearance of the built-in User Account Control (UAC) prompt. Faculty should note that starting Dec. 16, students will also see this prompt and will be required to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) for admin elevation on student devices.
