Jan. 31-Retirement celebration for Debbie Angleton

This notice appeared in the Weekly Phoenix between January 28, 2020 and January 31, 2020.

January 28, 2020

Please join Facilities and Safety Services in celebrating the career and upcoming retirement of Debbie Angleton, Administrative Assistant III.

Debbie was one of the first employees of Florida Polytechnic University. Originally a transferred employee from USF Polytechnic, Debbie’s primary focus was on the management of purchasing for Facilities & Safety Services including, but not limited to, all construction projects over the years. Debbie wore many hats in the early days of the University. Many do not know that she was the first Board of Trustees meeting manager, the first assistant to former Chief Operating Officer Dr. Ava Parker, and provided onboarding and training for new employees. Over the years, Debbie has truly exhibited the Florida Poly Fundamentals of “find a way,” “go above and beyond,” and “be willing to sweep the floors.”

We will miss her but wish her the very best as she begins her new journey into retirement! Everyone is invited to visit with Debbie and wish her well at a celebration in her honor:
