Florida Poly student team, Silver Eclipse, is heading to NASA’s Johnson Space Center and the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory in Houston, Texas, for microgravity testing June 1-3.
The University’s NASA Micro-g Neutral Buoyancy Experiment Design Team (Micro-g NExT) developed a specialized tool docking system to help astronauts securely store and access equipment during spacewalks on the International Space Station.
On Tuesday, June 2, NASA will evaluate the design in a simulated microgravity environment.
