The State University System’s Board of Governors (BOG), has requested that universities implement mental health training to benefit all students.
The Kognito simulation training is designed to enhance the mental health literacy of individuals who could potentially encounter students in distress on campus. Although faculty members are the primary target group for this training, staff members are also being asked to participate since both groups may interact with students during day-to-day responsibilities.
All faculty and staff should have received an email with a link to the training which began on Monday, Feb. 3, with an anticipated completion date no later than Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020.
