At the request of the Board of Governors (BOG), all state universities have been asked to implement mental health training to benefit students. Florida Poly will be officially launching Kognito mental health training for faculty and staff in January 2020.

The Kognito simulation training is designed to enhance the mental health literacy of all individuals who could potentially encounter students in distress. Faculty members are the primary target group of this initiative. However, staff members are asked to complete the training as well, since we all have opportunities to interact with students on campus.
