Lean Yellow Belt: October 2019

Class Dates: Tuesday, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8; Thursday, Oct. 3 and Oct. 10
1:30–3:30 p.m. | IST 1046

Students will learn selected Lean tools and methodology and be able to apply best practices to processes and projects. The class will include eight hours of classroom instruction plus a hands-on project to be completed outside of the classroom. Students should come to the class with an idea for a process they would like to improve using Lean methodology.

*Supervisors must register their employees for this course. Deadline to register is Friday, September 27. 

Six Sigma Yellow Belt: November 2019

Class Dates: Tuesday, Nov. 5 and Nov. 12; Thursday, Nov. 7 and Nov. 14

Students will learn selected Six Sigma tools and methodology and be able to apply best practices to processes and projects. The class will include eight hours of classroom instruction plus a hands-on project to be completed outside of the classroom. Students should come to the class with an idea for a process they would like to improve using Six Sigma methodology.
