It’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and the annual security awareness training is now open in KnowBe4. Every employee at Florida Polytechnic University completes it each year, including faculty, staff and student employees. This year, you can also see how your team stacks up.

What’s new: team leaderboards

Log in to the KnowBe4 Portal to see live leaderboards for each team. Watch your department climb the rankings as people finish. Will your team be the first to hit 100%?

What you need to know

• What: Mandatory annual cybersecurity awareness training.
• When: Now through Saturday, Oct. 31.
• Details: Look for an email from Florida Poly (do-not-reply@floridapoly.edu) with your access link, or go straight to the KnowBe4 Portal and sign in with your Florida Poly username and password.
• Why: Phishing and social engineering are still the most common ways attackers get in. A few minutes of training helps you spot them first.
• Policy: This training is required annually under the Mandatory Information Security Training Policy.

Don’t let your team finish last. Complete your training, check the leaderboard, and challenge your coworkers to do the same.
