The State University System’s Board of Governors (BOG), has requested that universities implement mental health training to benefit all students.

All faculty and staff should have received an email with a link to the training which began on Monday, Feb. 3. The deadline to complete the training has been extended to Friday, March 6.

The Kognito simulation training is designed to enhance the mental health literacy of individuals who may encounter students in distress on campus. Faculty members are the primary target group for this training. However, staff members are also being asked to participate since both groups may interact with students during day-to-day responsibilities.
