October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month and Technology Services encourages our students, faculty, and staff to #BeCyberSmart!  

This week, we share helpful tips and resources to help you stay safe and secure online — at work and at home. If everyone does their part, our digital world will be safer and more resilient for everyone.

Training video: Password Management Demo 

This demo is about tips on password management best practices and methods of creating passphrases. 

Suggested training topic: Mobile-First Module – Staying Safe in the Cloud 

Using the cloud doesn’t mean you don’t need to have a security mindset. This training module briefly explains what “the cloud” is and some of the security threats that exist when using cloud-based services. It also illustrates attitudes and behaviors that reduce the risks from those threats.
