Need an accommodation during an emergency?

This notice appeared in the Weekly Phoenix between January 19, 2021 and January 25, 2021.

January 19, 2021

As we start the Spring 2021 semester, we want to take the time to notify and remind all faculty, staff, and students of the voluntary process for individuals with disabilities in emergency preparedness situations. This process was developed to officially notify the University and register the individual; this will help the University prepare and assist the individual in case of an emergency.

If you feel that you would need assistance during an emergency, please reach out. This is for anyone with a permanent or temporary disability and needing assistance. There is no timeline for anyone who wants to voluntarily register.

Our goal is to protect our campus community and make sure every individual is prepared in case of an emergency.

Who to contact:
Employees – Human Resources
Students – Office of Disability Services
The appropriate office will follow up and provide further information.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact ADA Coordinator, Michelle Disson.
