Beginning Oct. 14, cost center managers will receive a notification when a manual journal has been recorded in their cost center. A manual journal is an accounting entry that has been created by the finance office to record or adjust a financial transaction within Workday. Manual journal notifications will appear under the notifications bell in Workday, located at the top right side of the Workday data screen just to the left of your inbox.

Please be advised these are only notifications, and no further action will be required by the cost center manager. This is merely an effort to provide more information to cost center managers about activity that is occurring in their cost center.
