The 2022 Killam Fellowship application deadline is Dec. 17, 2021.
The Killam Fellowships Program is a unique exchange opportunity that offers Florida Poly undergraduate students the chance to spend either one semester or a full academic year studying at a university in Canada. The fellowship carries an award of $5,000 for one semester and includes a health coverage allowance. The program also includes enrichment seminars in the fall and spring that are held in Ottawa and Washington, D.C., respectively, as well as funding to travel within Canada to support students pursuing additional cultural experiences.
How to apply:
Please prepare the following documents, then proceed to the online application:
- Proof of citizenship (pdf, one- page passport preferred)
- Curriculum vitae (pdf, up to three pages, 12-point font, one-inch margins)
- Unofficial transcripts(s) from all post-secondary education institutions (pdf)
- Personal statement (pdf, one page, single spaced,12-point font, one-inch margins)
- Course selection forms ( pdf, one page)
Please fill out one form for each institution that applies to your application and have it signed by an official at your home institution. Those applying to the direct exchange will only need to fill out course selection forms for their top three picks. - French Language Proficiency Report (pdf, one page) if you plan to do an exchange at a French language institution and French is not your first language.
