Florida Polytechnic University will be closed for winter break Friday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Jan. 2. Employees should return to work on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
The seven days the University is closed are paid holidays. The eight hours of holiday pay for each of those seven days will automatically flow to payroll for all eligible employees; no action is needed. The days will show zero hours until payroll processes that pay period. For those who are scheduled to work during the winter break, such as the University Police, please continue to enter your hours in Workday and those hours will be added to the prepopulated eight hours of holiday pay.
The pay date will be Thursday, Dec. 30 in accordance with our semi-monthly payroll schedule.
