Message to employees about Payroll

This notice appeared in the Weekly Phoenix between March 18, 2020 and March 30, 2020.

The Payroll Department has taken the necessary measures to ensure everyone’s pay will remain on schedule.  Your compensation is contingent upon hours worked or time taken off. The University is still open and operational, albeit teaching and working remotely. Remote status changes nothing. You must continue to do your part as follows:

HOURLY employees: Continue to enter and submit your “time worked” or request “time off” in Workday.

SALARY employees: Continue to “certify your time” or request “time off” in Workday.

SUPERVISORS: Routinely check your Workday inbox and approve payroll-related tasks, so the data flows to payroll for processing.

Failure to follow the standard payroll process will only delay the payroll process.

The next scheduled pay date is Tuesday, March 31.
