National Hazing Prevention Week activities

Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in several anti-hazing events to be held on campus from Monday, Sept. 23 through Wednesday, Sept. 25, in support of National Hazing Prevention Week.

Monday, Sept. 23: Do-nut Haze

8-10 a.m.-Stop by the IST Building (south entrance) to stand against hazing and sign our Anti-Hazing pledge. Free donuts will be given out to students who sign the pledge.

Tuesday, Sept. 24: 2019 Anti-Hazing Poster Design Student Competition for yearly campaign

Florida Poly students are invited to participate in a poster content to raise awareness and educate the community about hazing and promote the prevention of hazing. This competition is open to all current Florida Poly students. Additional information about the content, including submission criteria and submission form, are available online. The submission deadline is Sept. 20.

Wednesday, Sept. 25: “These Purple Hands Don’t Haze” Photo Campaign

Students and employees are welcome to join us as we demonstrate Florida Poly’s commitment to speaking up against hazing. We will be at the Wellness Center from 12-2 p.m. and the IST Building from 2-4 p.m., so be on the lookout for Jimmy Surin and Constantine Stefanakos.
