Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 17, Technology Services will upgrade the magnetic stripe readers on printers/copiers with proximity card readers. Machines at Florida Poly South and FIPR will be upgraded Thursday, Oct. 18. This is the same technology used to operate the doors on campus. Each printer will be unavailable for about 30 minutes while the vendor is physically installing the new reader. To release your job immediately, use another nearby machine. To use the new readers, tap and hold your card on the indicated spot below the screen until it beeps.
