The time has come to vote for our Phoenix mascot name! The Phoenix Mascot Naming Advisory Group, consisting of University staff, faculty, and students, began the Phoenix mascot naming process at Family Day this September. Our campus community, families, and friends had a month to submit their Phoenix mascot name suggestions.

The advisory group reviewed each name submission carefully to ensure the name of our Phoenix mascot embodies the heart and spirt of Florida Poly, aligns with the University’s mission and values, and that every member of our community can be represented by our Phoenix mascot. You can now vote on the final name.

VOTE HERE! Voting will be open until Sunday, Nov. 20.  

Our Phoenix mascot’s official name will be revealed during our Spring 2023 Purple Fire Week during the week of Jan. 9. More details will be shared as we kick off the spring 2023 semester!
